Rich Vana is the Chef and Owner of The Heritage Table, which opened in 2013.\u00a0 With a focus on presenting his guests with innovative, yet accessible fare, he dedicates a strong focus to sourcing from local farms and ranches.\u00a0 Having spent time in many kitchens with chefs across Dallas while working as a culinary writer, Rich gained tremendous\u00a0insight from those who drive the area’s culinary culture.\u00a0 Rich continued this passion he found, and strives daily to build on the culture in Frisco and North Texas.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

7110 Main Street in Frisco, TX was originally purchased on February 2, 1911 by the Gulledge family. The Gulledge brothers, J.F. and Lee, owned a mercantile and grocery store in Frisco.\u00a0 This store closed in 1915 upon the death of Lee Gulledge.\u00a0 \u00a0Mrs. Mattie Gulledge, Lee’s widow, built the house that stands on the property today.\u00a0 \u00a0It is believed that she took in boarders (teachers who lived in the area) to support herself and her three children.\u00a0 \u00a0After moving to Dallas, Mattie sold the house to Claude Rogers in 1935. The house remained in the Rogers family until 1983.<\/p>\n
